Recently, PLUME has been doing staking, but there are several major problems with traditional BTC staking. First, the income is not long-lasting and is often maintained by project token rewards, but this additional issuance method makes the token lose value in the market. Second, the risk is high because earnings are closely linked to crypto market volatility, and there is no stable source of cash flow. Finally, the staking mechanism is not large enough, especially the demand of institutional investors, and the existing liquidity pool simply cannot carry such a large amount of funds.
