Stablecoin looping strategy hitting ~45% APY
Came across this post where Vanxyrus used the @katana x @turtledotxyz x Morpho combo in a pretty clever way.
He looped stablecoins between Turtle vaults & Morpho:
> vbUSDC into Turtle for yvvbUSDC (~49% APY)
> supplied that on Morpho to borrow vbUSDT (~4.3% APR)
> vbUSDT back into Turtle for yvvbUSDT (~49% APY)
> then borrowed vbUSDC (~4.2% APR) and repeated
Cycled it a few times, then dropped the leftovers into the AUSD Turtle vault.
End result: around 40–44% APY in $KAT.
I’ll be trying out this loop myself to see how it plays out.
Managed to free up some funds and I decided to continue making full use of the @katana x @turtledotxyz x Morpho stables looping strat.
1⃣ Deposited vbUSDC into Turtle Vault for yvvbUSDC (49% APY)
2⃣ Supplied yvvbUSDC on Morpho to borrow vbUSDT (4.37% APR)
3⃣ Deposited vbUSDT into Turtle Vault for yvvbUSDT (49% APY)
4⃣ Supplied yvvbUSDT on Morpho to borrow vbUSDC (4.23% APR)
5⃣ Repeated steps 1-4 a few times and eventual leftover I swapped for some AUSD and deposited into the AUSD Turtle Vault
So overall I'm still earning between 40-44% APY in the form of $KAT.
Next course of action is to stake additional $POL on @0xPolygon once I claim my rewards from Catapult's mindshare mining program.
